Again in chapter 10 fire is mentioned as the major struggle between Ralph and Jack. With their folk depleted, Ralph? s followings start to miss involvement in the fire and the hope of being rescued. One dark while Ralph? s folk is asleep Jack? s folk comes over and bargains Piggy? s spectacless and the power to do fire. Ralph and Piggy go to Jack and say that they would hold lief shared the fire with him, wholly he had to make was inquire. By stealing the power to do fire Ralph has lost the power to do logical determinations and the power to take. When Piggy says that he will portion the fire he truly believes that this fact will convey the two folks together and halt the warfare. This is proved false when Jack refuses to collaborate. The symbol of fire in this book shows the relationship of Ralph and Jack by the arrangement of the fire.
